I'm pleased to announce that the Hidden Wiltshire website and project features in Wiltshire Life magazine this month. It is in newsagents this week and being the October issue has a very autumnal feel to the content.
A good selection of photos from the site are in there, together with a write up as part of a 4 page article. I was interviewed a few weeks ago by the editor, Claire Waring. She had spotted some of the content that I put on social media and was interested in the story behind the Autumn colours in Biss Wood. This opened up a wider chat about my journey around Wiltshire, with a focus on the aerial pictures that I take with my drone.
If you read the article you will see that it mentions a Hidden Wiltshire book that will be published in December. This will take some of the best bits of the journey so far and put them into print. I have seen a first prototype of the book and while there is still some work to be done, I am very pleased with how well the site translates into a book. The photos look really good, better than I could have hoped for.
More news on this will follow in the weeks ahead.
